76. And Zechariah says thus: Sword, awake against my shepherd, and against the man (that is) my companion. Smite [1] the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered. And this came to pass when He was taken by the Jews: for all the disciples forsook Him, fearing lest they should die with Him. For not yet did they steadfastly believe on Him, until they had seen Him risen from the dead.
