About this reading layout

Source wording, punctuation, paragraph boundaries and supplied line breaks are retained. Long prose also has editorial reading breaks at sentence boundaries. Substantial passages already enclosed in double quotation marks are set apart; this does not identify their source or establish a connection.

These added breaks are reading aids, not claims about the original manuscript’s layout. Poetry is lineated only where the downloaded text supplies line breaks. References and edition notes remain with their text.

Chapter 13 — Codex III

Read in this edition: source locators and uncertainty marks are retained. Square brackets can mark gaps or editorial interventions; headings and supplied subtitles belong to the edition. Coverage and cautions

4. [The first is Divinity, a living] bone; [the second] is [Lord]ship, a living sinew;

5. the third is both Goodness and Fire, a living flesh as well as the complete foundation ⟦page 23⟧ of the body; the fourth [is] Providence, a living marrow;

6. the fifth [is] Kingdom, living [blood];

7. the sixth is [Understanding], living teeth, with [the] entire body;

8. the seventh is Sophia, living hair,

9. and they arranged the entire man, and their angels attended them. From the living entities they had made ready, the authorities created the substance of [the living entities], the [limbs] coordinated with the joints. [The entire body was created, being fitted together by the host] of angels, [which I mentioned] previously.
